Job summary

Mauro Motors Automotive Group's Mercedes-Benz Van Center of North Haven seeks a Client Advisor – Commercial & Retail Sales to drive sales of Sprinter vans to commercial fleets and select pre-owned inventory.

The role requires building relationships with business owners, fleet managers, and retail clients, presenting upfit, financing, and leasing options, and thriving in a commission-only environment with unlimited earning potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive sales experience preferred (commercial or fleet sales a plus).
• Experience working with business clients, fleet accounts, or off-brand inventory strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of commercial and retail clients.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and manage commercial, fleet, and retail client relationships.
• Sell Mercedes-Benz Vans (Sprinter) for business, upfitting, and fleet use.
• Identify opportunities to sell off-brand and pre-owned vehicles to meet customer needs and close deals efficiently.
• Conduct needs-based consultations for business owners, contractors, and fleet decision-makers.
• Present vehicle features, upfit options, financing, and leasing solutions tailored to commercial use.
• Maintain working knowledge of Mercedes-Benz products, commercial incentives, and off-brand inventory.
• Actively follow up on leads from multiple sources including walk-ins, phone, internet, and commercial prospecting.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals across retail, commercial, and off-brand segments.
• Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with management, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
