Job summary

Strategic Connections is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Raleigh team. This full-time role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems in commercial and residential buildings.

You will collaborate with foremen, follow safety protocols, and travel to various job sites. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of sprinkler experience, a valid driver’s license, and basic math/blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization required; ability to pass background and reference checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience installing sprinkler or fire protection systems; blueprint reading.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; NICET I/II preferred.
• OSHA 10, Lift, Tool & CPVC Pipe certifications preferred but not required.
• Proficient in basic math and Microsoft Office or blueprint systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fire protection systems.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams.
• Lift at least 50 pounds and perform related physical tasks.
• Drive to job sites and work at multiple locations.
• Submit written progress reports for assigned projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attend trainings and meetings; install, assemble, and trim systems.

Position Overview

Team members will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems.

• This role requires working closely with the foreman and team members, following all safety protocols, and properly handling tools and equipment.
• Work will be performed in commercial and residential buildings.

We are seeking highly motivated, dependable, hardworking, and detail‑oriented individuals who can multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lift at least 50 pounds
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, and walking for extended periods
• Drive to job sites and work at various locations
• Submit written job progress reports for assigned projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings
• Install, assemble, and trim fire protection systems
