Job summary

Avantik is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service histology laboratory equipment across customer sites within the Springfield, MA area and nationwide as needed. You will coordinate with the Service Coordinator, perform repairs and PMs, and maintain clear communication on ETA, status, and completion while upholding Avantik standards.

The role requires travel to customer locations, and the candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, interpret schematics, and work effectively as part of

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair histology lab equipment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and manage service calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance per Avantik standards.
• Maintain inventory of parts for on-site repairs and PMs.
• Coordinate with customers and Service Coordinator for ETA and status updates.
