Job summary

The College of New Jersey seeks adjunct instructors for the Spring 2027 semester in the Nursing Department. The successful candidates will teach and supervise didactic and clinical instruction as assigned, and participate in program coordination and assessment activities.

Required qualifications include an MSN in nursing and prior experience as a clinical instructor, with ability to facilitate lab instruction under course direction. Employment is temporary/contractual for January–May 2027.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate lab instruction upon direction of the course leader.
• Must have medical-surgical and nursing fundamentals skills experience.
• Previous experience as a clinical instructor.

Responsibilities

• Actively communicates the department's mission, goals, and values to the community of interest.
• Participates in orientation and ongoing communication with the program coordinator and chair.
• Complies with all agency requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in delivering didactic information or clinical instruction/oversight of undergraduate students in light of course and clinical objectives and learning goals.
• Ensures student completion evaluations.
