Job summary

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is seeking Nursing Adjuncts for Spring 2027 to support didactic and clinical instruction in the Nursing Department. Adjuncts will participate in delivering course content and clinical supervision for undergraduate students in alignment with program objectives.

The position is temporary/contractual, part-time, January–May 2027, with compensation based on Adjunct Rate per Faculty Weighted Hours.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate lab instruction under course direction.
• Must have medical-surgical and nursing fundamentals skills experience.
• Previous experience as a clinical instructor.

Responsibilities

• Actively communicates the department's mission, goals, and values to the community of interest.
• Participates in orientation and ongoing communication with the program coordinator and chair.
• Complies with all agency requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in delivering didactic information or clinical instruction/oversight of undergraduate students in light of course and clinical objectives and learning goals.
• Ensures student completion evaluations.
