Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Development Intern for Spring 2027 at the Phoenix Regional Office. The role supports analysts and developers through market analysis, financial modeling and tax credit applications for affordable housing projects.

You’ll work on project planning, construction administration and due diligence, gaining hands-on experience in a mission-driven housing developer with offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze demographic trends and rental components.
• Prepare and update financial models, cash flow projections and feasibility analyses.
• Assist with evaluating acquisitions and organizing financial, market, and property data.
• Compile materials for financing, tax credit, and funding submissions.
• Maintain construction matrices, project schedules, trackers and milestones.
• Review investment agreements and due diligence materials under guidance.
• Collaborate with team and partners to support planning and due diligence.
• Maintain timely attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
