Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Development Intern for Spring 2027 at the Phoenix Regional Office. The intern will support analysts, associates, developers, and project partners across the real estate development process, including market research, financial modeling, and tax credit applications.

The role provides hands-on experience evaluating acquisitions, compiling financing materials, and maintaining project trackers, with exposure to construction administration and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing interest preferred.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with team and partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis of demographics, comparable properties, rent levels, and occupancy to evaluate development opportunities.
• Prepare and update financial models and cash flow projections for feasibility analyses.
• Assist with evaluations of prospective acquisitions and organize financial, operational, and market data.
• Compile documentation for financing and tax credit applications and funding submissions.
• Maintain construction matrices, schedules, trackers, and project milestones.
