Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and adherence to Northside Hospital policies.

Ideal candidates will be graduates of accredited nursing programs with Georgia RN licensure and BLS certification. BSN and additional life-support credentials are preferred to support diverse unit needs.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Manages the care of an assigned group of patients.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
