Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients under physician orders and established guidelines, aligned with our commitment to quality and patient safety.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and the ability to work 7p-7a on-site. A BSN and additional life-support credentials are preferred to enhance patient care across units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
