Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment within a patient-centered care team, with a 7p-7a shift for this unit.

Required: Georgia-licensed RN with BLS; preferred BSN and additional life support certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as applicable

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical specialty certifications preferred.
• Color acuity depending on unit may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Manages patient care for an assigned group in line with hospital policies.
• Collaborates with care teams to ensure safety and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
