Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The selected nurse will manage care for an assigned patient group, collaborate with the care team, and uphold the hospital's values of collaboration and empowerment. BLS is required; BSN and additional life support credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be licensed as an RN in GA in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certs preferred.
• Color vision may be required for unit-specific roles.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Manages patient care for assigned group following hospital policies and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
