Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The RN will manage patient care for an assigned group of patients while upholding Northside Hospital's values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

The role requires GA RN licensure in good standing, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital policies.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
