Job summary

Octagon is seeking an Account Trainee (Team Sports Sponsorship) to support the implementation of a robust U.S. baseball sponsorship portfolio and MLS partnerships.

The role is based with flexibility for hybrid work (three days in the office) in Stamford, CT, or New York, NY, and involves assisting in planning, execution, and activation of client events and promotions. You will collaborate with internal teams and client partners, manage administrative tasks, tracking, and reporting, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in sports management, marketing or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn in sports & entertainment or experiential marketing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support account team to improve the value of sponsorships and programs through planning and measurement.
• Assist with ticket/inventory processing and vendor management.
• Plan and execute event marketing programs, including operations and logistics.
