Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods House of Sport in Dell Rapids is seeking store teammates to greet customers, assess needs, and help create an exceptional shopping experience through product knowledge and friendly service.

Maintain merchandising standards, participate in loyalty/warranty programs, follow safety procedures, and support the team across the store while fostering an inclusive environment and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladders or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to support shopping experiences.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards through floor sets and price changes.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and private label enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment that welcomes customers and teammates.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
