Job summary

Sports Rehab & Physical Therapy is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in Decatur, TX. The PTA will work one-on-one with patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to apply therapeutic exercises, massages, and other treatments aimed at reducing pain and improving mobility.

The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree, be licensed, and value patient education, teamwork, and timely documentation of progress.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state license to practice as a PTA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Execute PT treatment plans under supervision of a PT.
• Assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities.
• Use massage and stretching to aid recovery.
• Educate patients and families about recovery expectations.
• Record progress and report to the PT.
