Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months cashiering experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle money accurately.
• Must be able to pass firearm background checks and related paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions at registers accurately and efficiently.
• Handle payments by cash, check, or credit and provide correct change.
• Record daily cash register activity and balance drawers.
• Maintain neat work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Assist with firearm background checks and related paperwork (Form 4473).
• Help with gun room housekeeping and movement of gun boxes.
• Read, write, and follow simple instructions; demonstrate teamwork.
• Promote Scheels Visa Rewards and explain benefits.
• Respond to customer questions with friendly, professional demeanor.
