Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate. You will actively engage customers in the store, answer firearms questions, assist with purchases, and ensure all firearm paperwork and safety procedures are followed.

A strong emphasis on customer experience and adherence to Scheels standards is required. Candidate must be able to greet customers, promote Scheels Visa Rewards, and contribute to meeting personal and team sales goals while participating in product training and store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and/or 1-3 months of cashiering experience
• Must be at least 21 years old due to firearms compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong math skills for sales calculations

Responsibilities

• Ensure all paperwork for firearm sales (Form 4473, licensing, background checks) is completed accurately
• Demonstrate proper firearm safety and handling
• Evaluate and appraise firearms for resale
• Greet customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile
• Promote Scheels Visa Rewards and explain benefits
• Grow personal sales by hitting goals and following Scheels standards
• Attend product training and store meetings
