The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a part-time Youth Sports Official at Lionville Community YMCA in Exton, PA 19341. You will help maintain a safe, fair game environment, run coaches’ meetings, and build positive relationships with participants, parents, coaches and officials.

Qualifications include 18+, HS diploma preferred, at least two years officiating, advanced knowledge of the sport, and excellent verbal/interpersonal skills, with certifications completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years officiating sports.
• Possesses advanced knowledge of the sport.
• Display appropriate maturity level and ability to relate to all ages and ability levels.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.

• Build relationships with participants, parents, coaches, and officials.
• Maintain a safe sports environment at all times. Make sure that non-participants are not interfering with game play or participation of team members.

• Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
