Ascension’s Seton Family of Hospitals in Austin, TX seeks a PRN Physical Therapist specialized in Event Medicine. You will evaluate patients, design plans to restore mobility, and apply sports PT techniques to boost performance. You’ll work with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, TX license within 6 months, and BLS within 30 days. EMR certification and LAT/ATC credentials are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• BLS within 30 days of hire date.
• PT license from Texas required within 180 days.
• Bachelor's degree required; higher degrees preferred.

• Develop and implement personalized care plans designed to restore mobility, build strength and accelerate recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based sports physical therapy techniques to maximize patient outcomes and physical performance.
• Partner with physicians, care teams and support staff to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.

Additional Preferences

• Emergency Medical Response (EMR) certification
• Texas Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) or Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC)
