MercyOne Health System is seeking a part-time Clinic Receptionist to greet patients and manage front desk operations at the clinic. The role includes scheduling, phone support, insurance verification, data entry into the EHR, and handling time-of-service payments with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification within 3 months, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and patient-centered care in line with Trinity Health values.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with patient information.
• Professional demeanor reflecting Trinity Health mission and values.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including patient flow and scheduling.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect copays and deductibles at time of service.
• Copy/scan patient materials into the EHR and other systems.
