Job summary

Dollamur LP is seeking a detail‑driven Sports Mat Painter for the 1st shift in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves hand painting logos and designs on large mats in a climate‑controlled environment, with training provided—no prior experience required.

You will cut, measure, and assemble rolls, with overtime available and promotion opportunities within the Art Department. Hours are Mon-Fri 6:00 am–2:30 pm and Sat 6:00 am–12:00 pm, with potential weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and good with measurements.
• Experience with skilled labor is a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to speak, read & write in English.
• Willing to work OT and/or some weekends as required.
• Experience using hand-cutting tools, tape measure, and straight edge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• This role will kneel/crawl on a mat while painting logos, measuring, and cutting.
• Prepare painting surfaces for customized artwork and check for defects.
• Learn to read and understand layouts with artist assistance to decorate mats.
• Attention to all detail impacting the mat including dimensions, logo reproduction, location and sizing.
• Move rolls, place mats down and prepare rolls for packaging.

Dollamur is quickly growing, and we need those experienced in skilled trades (construction, woodworking, etc.) that are used to detailed work, cutting, measuring, and heavy lifting to train as artists. No experience needed – WE’LL TRAIN YOU- just the desire and dedication to be a contributing and successful part of our Dollamur team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• This role will be required frequently kneeling/crawling on a mat while painting logos, measuring, and cutting.
• Prepare painting surfaces for customized artwork. Includes putting rolls together properly and checking for defects.
• With the assistance of an artist, learn to read and understand layouts. Translate information to decorate mat.
• Attention to all detail impacting the mat. Including overall dimensions, logo reproduction, location and sizing.
• Material handling: moving rolls, putting mats down, and picking them up when complete. Preparing rolls for packaging.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with skilled labor is a plus, but not necessary.
• This role is laborious, there is no graphic or computer work associated with this position’s duties.
• The ideal candidate is detail oriented and is good with measurements.
• Ability to speak, read & write in English.
• Willing to work OT and/or some weekends as required.
• Experience using hand-cutting tools, tape measure, and straight edge is a plus.
• Must be able to work on your feet and knees, bend, stoop, and lift consistently for all scheduled hours.
• Must be able to manipulate and move material weighing up to 100 lbs. either rolling, lifting, or using a hand cart.
• Standing and kneeling for an excessive amount of time.
• This position will function in a manufacturing environment to fulfill essential duties. This role will regularly be required to sit, standing, kneeling, crouching, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Must use eyes to focus on color-matching art placement and quality of the product. Occasionally this role will be required to move objects unassisted that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, and smoke may occur.
