Job summary

Dollamur is seeking a Logistics Associate for the 1st shift (7am–4pm) at our Fort Worth facility. We train you to perform shipping and receiving tasks and learn our processes as we grow.

You will organize products, inspect quality, package items for shipping, load trailers, assist with receiving, and work safely with PPE. Forklift experience is a plus; overtime and lifting up to 90 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work in a team.
• Willing to work overtime and some weekends.
• Manufacturing experience in ambient temperature environment is a plus.
• Must be able to stand, bend and lift for scheduled hours.
• Must move materials weighing up to 90 lbs; forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and group product from previous day’s production.
• Perform quality inspections on each roll for defects, surface quality and appearance.
• Package product for shipping according to specific instructions.
• Load trailers with orders for vendors based on ship via.
• Assist with receiving and unloading of trucks.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Logistics Associate (Shipping/ Receiving - 1st shift - large box)

The Logistics Associate’s primary responsibility is to assist in daily operational tasks for the shipping & receiving functions.

• Organize and group product from previous day’s production.
• Perform quality inspections on each roll including but not limited to checking for defects on each roll, checking surface quality, and overall appearance of product.
• Package product for shipping according to specific instructions.
• Load trailers with specific orders for each vendor based on ship via.
• Assist with receiving and unloading of trucks.
• Work within safety parameters as described in Dollamur’s hire and wear required PPE during tasks.

Qualifications

• Self-starter; must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Willing to work overtime and/or some weekends as required.
• Experience working in an ambient temperature manufacturing environment a plus.
• Must be able to work on your feet, bend, stoop, and lift consistently for all scheduled hours.
• Must be able to manipulate and move material with assistance weighing up to 90 lbs. by either rolling, lifting, or using a hand cart.
• Forklift experience is very desirable.
  
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must be able to read and understand spoken English.
• High attention to detail, ability to solve straight forward problems with a few concrete variables.
• Must possess hand-eye coordination necessary to operate machines and perform essential duties.
• Experience using measuring and cutting tools a plus
• Must be comfortable completing tasks alone or as part of a team.
  
  
  

Work Environment

• This position will function in a manufacturing environment to fulfill essential duties. This role will regularly be required to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, walk, climb stairs.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, and smoke may occur.
• Exposure to forklift traffic, sharp tools & objects, and moving mechanical parts.
