Job summary

Canlan Sports in the United States operates multi-sport complexes and seeks a Customer Care Associate to greet walk-in customers, assist with registrations, and process payments while upholding health and safety protocols.

This role requires strong communication, basic tech skills (POS/CRM), and a commitment to excellent customer service; you will support the Contact Center and help maintain a welcoming, safe environment across venues.

Qualifications

• At least one year office and customer service experience.
• Experience handling credit card payments.
• Comfortable with new systems and technology (iPads, POS, CRM).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a friendly, competent manner.
• Answer questions or escalate to the appropriate department.
• Accept payments and provide receipts for programs and services.
• Take casual/spot rental bookings and prepare contracts with fees.
• Be primary contact for the Contact Center and relay information.
• Report repairs and maintenance needs to Operations.
• Maintain a safe, compliant environment; enforce distancing rules.
• Direct traffic to zones and assist athletes from rooms to ice.
• Provide 1st Aid if required and handle disinfecting duties.
• Adhere to Risk Management and Health & Safety policies.
• Wear PPE when required and uphold Canlan policies and values.
• Support promotions and actively sell products and services.
• Assist in training new staff and mentor junior teammates.
