Job summary

WME Sports, based in Beverly Hills, seeks an experienced Commercial Agent to grow and service the commercial business across Sports Broadcasting and Legends divisions. This role focuses on generating deal flow and developing opportunities in brand partnerships, endorsements and appearances for a roster of athletes and media talent.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales or related fields, with a proven ability to secure revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales, sports business, sports marketing, sponsorship, commercial partnerships, media sales, talent representation or a related field.
• A proven track record of generating new business and commercial revenue.
• Strong sales skills and the confidence to proactively approach brands and prospective partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies for Sports Broadcasting and Legends clients.
• Generate new business and build a strong pipeline of opportunities for the roster.
• Identify and secure brand partnerships, endorsements, appearances, speaking engagements, ambassador programs, licensing and content opportunities.
• Create and pitch partnership ideas to brands, agencies, networks and other prospective buyers.
• Act as the day-to-day commercial representative for assigned clients.
• Advise clients on their commercial positioning and relevant market opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and partnership recommendations.
• Lead commercial negotiations and work with Legal and Finance to take deals through to execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, talent buyers, broadcast networks, sports properties and event organizers.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and track commercial performance against revenue goals.
