The YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Club Instructor to warmly greet members and guide walking, running, and hiking activities while ensuring safety and encouraging participation.
Responsibilities include creating engaging workouts, maintaining a clean, safe area, building community and supporting members to reach their health goals, with a schedule of Tue and Sat mornings. CPR/First Aid certs required within 30 days.
The Club Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers and staff by actively greeting members and participants and providing excellent customer service, guidance and leadership. The Instructor creates and leads walking, running, and/or hiking exercise classes in a safe, effective and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual health of each student.
