YMCA of San Diego County in Encinitas is seeking an energetic Club Instructor to lead walking, running and hiking activities for members. You will greet participants, ensure engagement, and create safe routes to support overall health and wellness.
The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1+ year of experience leading group exercise, and CPR/First Aid certification. Schedule includes Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 10am, with additional duties as needed.
The Club Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers and staff by actively greeting members and participants and providing excellent customer service, guidance and leadership. The Instructor creates and leads walking, running, and/or hiking exercise classes in a safe, effective and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual health of each student.
Schedule
