Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and general trades projects in Atlanta. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, scheduling, risk management, and coordination with owners, architects, and vendors.

Responsibilities include start-up set-up, SOV development, material procurement planning, and leading meetings to drive production efficiencies while maintaining safety and quality standards onsite.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a project manager for specialty scopes (drywall, framing, ceilings, doors & hardware)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of interior construction systems and cost, scheduling, estimating, and procurement

Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of SPO projects from kickoff to closeout
• Lead startup, budget setup, SOV establishment, and submittals
• Oversee procurement of long lead materials to meet ROJ dates
• Lead weekly production meetings and improve production
• Manage change orders and contract administration with owners
• Support EH&S, safety protocols, and risk evaluations
• Provide leadership for labor relations and staffing in union or non-union environments
• Coordinate with finance for pay apps and supplier invoices
• Mentor and potentially supervise SPO Drywall team
