Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Self‑Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and related trades on a major construction program. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management from project kick‑off through closeout.

You will coordinate with the project team, owners, and architects, drive productivity, manage feasibility of schedule, and ensure contract compliance and safety at the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in project management for specialty scopes (e.g., drywall, framing, ceilings).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, or equivalent education/experience.
• Deep knowledge of interior construction systems and related scopes.
• Proven leadership to supervise teams and manage labor relations.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and accounting understanding.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate management of SPO drywall and trades projects from start to close.
• Set up budgets, SOVs, and submittals; manage procurement and long-lead materials.
• Lead weekly production meetings and drive productivity improvements.
• Identify change conditions, estimate change orders, obtain owner approvals.
• Oversee contract compliance, risk management, and safety program adherence.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback for SPO team.
