Turner Construction Company in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and general trades projects, overseeing pursuit, staffing, planning, budgeting, and risk management from start to finish.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of interior construction systems, union/non-union experience, and the ability to coordinate with owners, architects, suppliers, and the EH&S team to deliver safety and quality on schedule.

Formación

• 6+ years of project management experience on specialty construction scopes such as framing, drywall, ceilings, and related trades
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of interior construction systems (CFMF, drywall, ceilings) and related scopes
• Leadership and management skills to supervise teams and work activities
• Prior labor management experience (Union and/or Non-Union) desired
• Strong understanding of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, budgeting, and accounting principles
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Experience in project engineering, field supervision, or purchasing

Responsabilidades

• Manage operational performance of SPO projects from kick-off to close out
• Lead project startup including budget setup, SOV establishment, and submittal submission
• Manage procurement and release of long lead materials to meet ROJ dates
• Lead weekly project production meetings with General Superintendent to improve production
• Generate production rates and communicate variances to management and estimating teams
• Identify change conditions, estimate change orders, and coordinate approvals with owners
• Understand and administer contracts and subcontracts
• Oversee master schedule development and updates for SPO, distribute to trades
• Collaborate with EH&S to implement project safety protocols
• Oversee timely pay applications and collaboration with Finance on supplier invoices
