Job summary

Turner Construction Company in the Bay Area seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) for drywall and related trades. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and coordination with owners, architects, and vendors on complex interior projects in Walnut Creek.

The role requires at least 6 years of project management experience in specialty scopes, a degree in a related field, knowledge of CFMF framing, DFHW, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related project manager experience in specialty scopes (framing, drywall, ceilings, CFMF, DFHW).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Deep knowledge of interior construction systems (CFMF, DFHW, drywall, ceilings).
• Strong leadership and team supervision ability.
• Experience with labor management (union/non-union) desired.
• Understanding of cost, scheduling, estimating, budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of SPO projects from kick-off to close out.
• Lead project startup including budget setup, Schedule of Values (SOV) establishment, and submittal submission.
• Procure long lead materials and manage ROJ dates.
• Lead weekly project production meetings with General Superintendent.
• Develop and update master schedule and communicate obligations to trades and suppliers.
• Oversee field operations, QC program, and safety collaboration.
