Job summary

Grand Canyon University Worship Team is seeking a student employee to manage technical needs for Chapel and Gathering events. You will set up drums, in-ear monitors, mics, cabling, audio, lighting and video equipment, and assist with loading and unloading gear.

The role requires strong teamwork, reliable communication and the ability to lift heavy equipment. You must be enrolled as a full-time student and maintain GPA requirements while employed by GCU.

Qualifications

• Know how to set up a sound system and musical equipment.

Purpose within the Organization:

The purpose of this position is to provide all the technical needs for the Grand Canyon University Worship Team. This is to support the Chapel and Gathering events put on by Spiritual Life.

• Setup Audio For Gathering Services.


• Setup Lighting for Gathering Services.


• Setup Video for Gathering Services.


• Assist the Worship Team with setting up and tearing down equipment.


• Prepare Computer for Gathering and Chapel Services.

Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.

Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.

Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
