Job summary

Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, Florida, is seeking a Surgical Services Clinical Resource (Spine) Coordinator to join the Surgery team. This role supports scheduling, materials management, sterile processing and charge capture for spine procedures.

You will ensure the right instruments, supplies and equipment are available, charged accurately and documented properly, while collaborating with leadership and vendors to optimize resource use.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical tech or nursing program.
• Four years healthcare experience in a Surgery department.
• Computer applications: Affinity, Microsoft Office, Lawson.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field may substitute for up to two years of the required experience.
• Commensurate with clinical training (i.e. CST, RN).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with surgical scheduling and leadership to ensure appropriate supplies and equipment.
• Operates most specialty instruments and equipment as trained.
• Maintains accurate documentation and charge posting for supply items.
• Participates in process improvement and vendor training.
