Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist for the DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics group in Lynchburg, VA. You will support surgeons in the operating room with clinical and logistical expertise for orthopedic cases.

Role requires travel, a US driver’s license, and the ability to work in a lab/OR environment. You’ll promote surgical instruments and provide OR/ Sterile Processing consultation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or relevant experience.
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.

Responsibilities

• Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room with clinical and technical support.
• Advance DPS sales by attending surgeries and ensuring proper equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot physician needs and manage hospital billing and purchase orders; respond to requests promptly.
• Share customer and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and accounts teams to improve solutions and service levels.
• Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets across the assigned area.
• Ensure promotional materials are presented well and DePuy Synthes offerings meet high quality standards.
• Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between reps and hospitals.
