Job summary

Arthrex Chicago is seeking a Spine Sales Manager to drive sales in the Chicagoland area by supporting spine products and related biologics and soft tissue instruments. You will educate spine surgeons, build strong customer relationships, and execute strategic plans to exceed territory goals.

The role requires comfort in the operating room and collaboration with Arthrex’s orthopedic team. Experience in spine implant sales is preferred, and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of demonstrated sales success in spine implant industry or surgical team experience.
• Ability to relate to health care professionals within Spine, Orthopedics, and Biologics markets.
• Must be comfortable in operating room.

Responsibilities

• Educate spine surgeons on instrumentation and techniques.
• Increase territory sales by building and maintaining relationships.
• Communicate with current and new customer accounts about product updates and educational programs.
• Implement new sales plans and marketing strategies to meet territory objectives.
• Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
• Maintain compliance and privacy of information; act with ethics and integrity.

Job description

The Arthrex Spine Sales Manager is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within the Chicagoland area. The Sales Manager will be assisting with sales and technical support of Arthrex spine products; this includes, but is not limited to, spine, biologics, and soft tissue products.

The Spine Sales Manager must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and appointments in and out of the operating room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent Arthrex Chicago,the exclusive agency authorized to sell Arthrex products in the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
• Educate spine surgeons on proper instrumentation and techniques.
• Increase territory sales by building and maintaining strong business relationships.
• Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
• Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
• Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
• Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, adhering to applicable federal, state, local laws, regulations, accreditation, and licenser requirements.
• Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
• Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
• Represent Artemis Surgical and Arthrex at various industry meetings, attend labs, and tradeshows.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• MS Office required.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
