Job summary

DePuy Synthes is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to support surgeons in the operating room with clinical and logistical expertise. You will independently cover surgical cases, ensure equipment availability, and drive DPS sales while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills, plus the ability to travel and work in a hospital/OR environment in assigned territories.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking and problem solving skills are required.
• Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment and travel as needed.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree or medical certification plus relevant experience or military transition considered.

Responsibilities

• Guide surgeons in the operating room with clinical and technical support for orthopedic cases.
• Advance sales by representing the company at surgeries and ensuring necessary equipment is available and functioning.
• Manage hospital billing, purchase orders, logistics, and asset management within the assigned territory.
• Provide logistical support by moving instruments and implants between sales reps and hospitals.
