Packers Staffing is hiring a Speech Therapist (SLP) to plan, organize, develop, and direct Speech Language Pathology services across two Kenosha facilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and CMS expectations. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling or per diem/PRN options.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, CCC, and an active SLP license. You’ll deliver therapy, document in NetHealth EMR, supervise FEES/MBS protocols, and

• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversight and implementation of FEES/MBS protocols with site coordination.
• Participate in screening protocols for residents' needs in a timely, clinical manner.

Job description

We're hiring for a Speech Therapist SLP to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: Full-Time with Flexible Scheduling or Per Die/PRN

Location: This position will float between two facilities (Waters Edge Health and Rehab and Sheridan Health and Rehab in Kenosha)

Responsibilities:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.

• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation

• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals

• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities

• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems

• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs

• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Certificate of Clinical Competency

• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
