Job summary

Beloit Health and Rehab is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to plan, organize, develop, and direct speech-language services in line with standards and regulations. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment, with flexible scheduling options available.

Responsibilities include providing quality therapy, evaluating data for treatment planning, creating goals, supervising staff, and ensuring CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice is mandatory.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for daily carryover.
• Complete compliant CMS documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to identify resident needs in a timely and clinical manner.

Offering $7000 Sign-On Bonus with Flexible Scheduling

Beloit Health and Rehab is hiring for a Speech Therapist SLP to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained. Plus, we're offering a $7000* sign-on bonus for FT.

Status: Full-Time FT or PRN with Flexible Scheduling

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications

• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
