Job summary

Packers Staffing is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to join our team in Milwaukee. You will provide quality speech-language pathology services under CMS and regulatory guidelines while maintaining documentation in NetHealth EMR.

The role offers per diem scheduling with opportunities to collaborate with caregivers, families, and residents, and includes ongoing education and growth within a supportive, values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Education

Packers Staffing is hiring for PRN Speech Therapist to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.
