Job summary

Packers Staffing is hiring a Speech Therapist (SLP) to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with standards and regulations, as directed by Administrator, to maintain high-quality resident care.

Status: Per Diem/PRN • Location: Madison, WI • Responsibilities include therapy services, data collection for treatment planning, CPP documentation, and FEES/MBS oversight as required by CMS and site protocols.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain current licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures for carryover of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols with coordination of site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to ensure resident needs are met timely and with clinical excellence

Education

Packers Staffing is hiring for Speech Therapist SLP to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: Per Diem/PRN

Location: Madison, WI

Responsibilities:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.

• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation

• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals

• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities

• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
