Job summary

Packers Staffing is hiring a Speech Therapist to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with standards and regulations. The role supports two locations in Antigo and Laona, WI and offers flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals per standards of practice and department procedures
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term and long-term goals
• Instruct patient, family and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover of remediation
• Complete compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR per CMS expectations
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs
• Participate in screening protocols for resident needs

Packers Staffing is hiring for a Speech Therapist to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: Full-Time/Part-Time with Flexible Scheduling

Location: This position supports two locations in Antigo and Laona, WI

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
