Job summary

Greenville Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN coverage. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians, families, and the rehab team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning.
• Provide staff education and in-service training.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable)
