Job summary

Greenville Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN work. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders and collaborate with physicians, families, and the rehab team.

This PRN role offers flexible scheduling, potential full-time opportunities, and a path to growth within a supportive rehab environment. A South Carolina SLP license is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Must meet all state and federal requirements for clinical practice.
• Maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning.
• Provide staff education and in-service training.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable).
