Job summary

West Village Post Acute is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in Greenville, SC. You will evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, families, and other healthcare professionals to help residents achieve their highest level of function and quality of life.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, SC

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SC SLP license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation preferred.
• Must meet state and federal requirements for practicing Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy per physician orders.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document accurately and timely to meet regulatory requirements.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning activities.
• Educate residents and families on therapy plans and maintenance.
