Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble seeks a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehab team. You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs, using evidence-based approaches and cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications include current state licensure, CCC, CPR (or to be obtained within 30 days), and a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
