Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop personalized plans and document progress in a supportive, technology-enabled setting at a nationally leading rehabilitation company.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing patient and family engagement at a premier inpatient facility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
• SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required or eligible.
• State licensure or certification required by regulations.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient performance and progress.
• Celebrate patient victories and support rehabilitation goals.

Education

Master's degree or higher

Bachelor's degree with field experience

SLP CCC certification

Current state licensure

CPR certification (within 30 days)
