Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide specialized speech and language rehabilitation in our national inpatient network. You will evaluate, design, and implement patient-specific treatment plans, working to improve communication abilities and overall quality of life.

The role requires current licensure, CCC, and CPR (or ability to obtain within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, with a Bachelor’s considered with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• BLS (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
