Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble is seeking a Speech Pathologist to assess and treat patients with speech and language needs. You will develop personalized treatment plans and work with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires state licensure, CCC-SLP, and CPR; a Master’s degree is preferred. You will document progress, adjust therapy as needed, and celebrate patient milestones.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as required by state regulations
• CCC-SLP certification completed
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire or obtained earlier

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment
• Celebrating patient victories along the way
