Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Dallas, Texas. You will contribute by evaluating and treating patients with speech-language needs, planning treatment, and supervising clinical fellows.

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and current licensure with the Texas Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required within 60 days of hire.

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) joining our team, you will be part of a mission to make communities healthier.

How You'll Contribute

• Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language, and therapy needs.
• Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ condition.
• Design and implement a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient and family.
• Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Additional requirements include:

• Licensed Speech Therapist; current licensure with the Texas Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
