Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As an SLP, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech-language and therapy needs, developing personalized treatment plans that involve both patients and their families.

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and be licensed in Texas. You will be part of a mission-driven network aimed at making communities healthier, providing essential care through your skills and compassion.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with TX Board of Speech‑Language Pathology & Audiology.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Design and implement a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
