Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

The position requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR/BLS (within 30 days), and a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with field experience). You will join a national leader in post-acute care with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) required.
• CPR/BLS certified or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
